MP News: Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar had dedicated his life for the country and freedom struggle: CM Shivraj Chouhan

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will visit Lord Ram temple at Rampayli in Balaghat today and inspect the memories associated with Dr. Hedgewar. He said that Dr. Hedgewar has been associated with Rampayali since childhood and this village has been Hedgewar’s karmabhoomi. Dr. Hedgewar, after completing his MBBS from Calcutta and before the establishment of the RSS, lived in Rampayali for a long period, conducting various activities of the Indian freedom struggle. In Rampayali itself, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar had forced the British to flee by making a fierce movement against the British. During the freedom struggle, Dr. Hedgewar composed many revolutionary activities including Jungle Satyagraha while staying in Rampayali and implemented it from here.

Chief Minister Chouhan had announced on 15th August
In his Independence Day speech on August 15, CM Shivraj had also talked about preserving the memories of Dr. Hedgewar ji in Rampayali. The Chief Minister had said that Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar had dedicated his life for the country and freedom struggle. His memories are attached to Rampayali in Balaghat district. We will permanently save his memories related to the freedom struggle in Rampayali. After the inspection today, Chief Minister Chouhan will give directions to build a memorial at Rampayli with a view to preserve the memories related to the contribution of Dr. Hedgewar in the freedom struggle.
